The Advisory Project Management/UMA Program Senior Specialist is a key member of the Program Management team responsible for driving the strategic advancement of Stifel's Advisory Programs through project leadership, business innovation, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies. The role proactively evaluates business challenges, operational processes, industry trends, and technology developments to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, scalability, decision-making, advisor experience, and client outcomes. The Senior Specialist serves as a leader in the adoption and implementation of AI-enabled solutions, ensuring enhancements are delivered within appropriate governance, regulatory, compliance, and risk management frameworks.

 

Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, project management discipline, analytical problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions. Through strong relationship management, innovation, and execution, the Senior Specialist helps shape the future of Stifel's Advisory Programs while supporting exceptional advisor and client experiences.



What We're Looking For

Project Management & Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead and support the planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation of projects related to Advisory Programs and key firm strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, timelines, risks, dependencies, and success criteria while ensuring alignment with firm priorities.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, status reports, presentations, and executive updates that encompass all requirements and dependencies necessary for successful project delivery.

AI-Driven Innovation & Advisory Program Enhancement

  • Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to review, evaluate, improve, and innovate Advisory Program offerings and processes.
  • Identify and recommend AI-enabled solutions that enhance productivity, scalability, decision-making, reporting, and business outcomes while maintaining compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
  • Leverage AI and data-driven analysis to identify trends, process inefficiencies, business opportunities, and potential enhancements across Advisory Programs.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to support the implementation, testing, adoption, and optimization of AI-driven capabilities and process improvements.

UMA Program Management & Advisory Program Oversight

  • Support the Program Management team with ongoing monitoring, administration, and oversight, of the UMA Advisory Program.
  • Operate as a primary resource for Financial Advisors regarding all aspects of the UMA Advisory Program, including program features, fees, account minimums, and program policies.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation, prioritization, and implementation of program enhancements designed to improve advisor experience, operational effectiveness, client outcomes, and business growth objectives.

 

 

 



What You'll Bring

• Strong understanding of financial services and brokerage industry experience.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging artificial intelligence technologies, including generative AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Platform AI capabilities), to improve operational efficiency, streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, and support business objectives.
• Ability to identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled solutions while ensuring appropriate governance, data privacy, security, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives, manage competing priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-assisted workflows, automations, reporting solutions, or productivity enhancements.



Education & Experience

• Minimum Required: B.S. or B.A. in a business or related field degree in business or related field
• Minimum Required: 5+ years investment industry experience, with project management experience. 



Licenses & Credentials

• Minimum Required: Series 7 & 66 (or 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) or obtained within 12 months. 



Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Knowledge of Addepar, SQL, Thomson/BETA, Vestmark, and SmartSheets
•    Experience with AI solutions (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Platform AI capabilities)
