The Equity Product Management Associate is responsible for assisting the Head of Equity Product Management to leverage the commercial nature of Stifel's equity research and maximize its impact among equity sales and trading. The primary goal is to amplify the ideas of our research team and ensure the sales and trading division are kept updated and informed.
What We're Looking For
- Coordinate logistics for the Morning and Afternoon Research Calls and Analyst Conference calls; responsible for develping and running the Afternoon Call daily; may serve as the primary back up for the Morning call.
- Aid in preparation of daily Trader Notes product, through reading and summarizing key messages from analyst notes comprising the Morning Call lineup.
- Prepare intraday Market Summaries highlighting performers, market data, top headlines and pertinent economic data.
- Assist in production of the monthly Stifel Select List.
- Produce weekly earnings calendar, periodically highlighing significant earnings previews in a timely fashion.
- Gather feedback from sales teams to identify focus calls by Sales and identify action needed on problematic calls.
- Work with Research to better understand their respective verticals and specific stock calls and work to facilitate flow of time sensitive information between Research and Sales & Trading.
- Work with Head of Equity Product management to coordinate the efforts of analysts across different verticals when recognizing themes with cross-sector implications.
- Produce quantitative Bloomburg/Excel Screens to highlight stocks with technical and/or fundamental attributes that may fortify our research message or fit within the context of a broader theme.

- Ability to manage one's own time and priorities to ensure the meeting of deadlines. Must have an acute sense of timeliness.

Education & Experience
- Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance
- Minimum Required: At least 1 year of Financial experience on a trading floor
Licenses & Credentials
- Minimum Required: FINRA Series 7 & 63 (within 3 months of employment)
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
