The Operations Assistant Manager-Advisory Services will provide oversight and day-to-day management of associates who are responsible for the completion of all requests related to the establishment and maintenance of Advisory Accounts at Stifel. The Assistant Manager is responsible for aiding the manager with evaluating workloads, staff scheduling, and associate development for their team. The Assistant Manager is responsible for aiding the manager in providing leadership and guidance to the members of the Advisory Account Services team.



What We're Looking For

  • Provide leadership to the department and ensure all account opening and maintenance responsibilities are fulfilled.
  • Assist with oversight and maintenance of department policies and procedures.
  • Streamline processes and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Administer various supervisory controls to ensure work is being completed accurately and according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with manager with respect to department decision making.
  • Maintain an understanding of the work being completed by associates and the status of the various projects.
  • Assist with tracking of all departmental responsibilities and supervisory procedures.
  • Ensure all workflow enhancements are appropriately tested prior to release.

Education & Experience

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, or 6+ years of Stifel experience.
  • Minimum Required: 6+ years of industry experience.


Licenses & Credentials

  • Minimum Required: Series 7 or Series 99.


Systems & Technology

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook including Excel, Word, PowerPoint. #LI-AS1
