Summary
The Unit Investment Trust (UIT) Specialist assists the department and Stifel's Financial Advisors with all matters relating to Unit Investment Trusts, including marketing, sales, trading, servicing and operations. The UIT Specialists works closely with other key members of the Firm including Compliance, Operations and Sales Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides marketing, sales support, and product information to Financial Advisors
• Works with internal and external sources to develop educational and marketing material for Advisors
• Maintains the UIT Trading System and Rollover functions
• Provides portfolio reviews for Financial Advisors
• Helps facilitate secondary trading with UIT sponsors and broker dealer community
• Provides input for development of Firm product policies
• Responds to compliance, legal, or regulatory inquiries related to products
• Set up and maintain electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material
• Supporting Senior UIT and Equity New Issue product team on project work, databases, and presentations as needed
• Opportunities to learn about and back up other IP&S Equity New Issue functions

Qualifications
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of the financial markets, the industry, the analysis and reporting of financial data, and associated terminology.

Education and Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related study
• Minimum Required: 1 -3 years of related experience

Licenses and Credentials
• Minimum Required: Series 7 & 63 (ability to obtain within first 12 months)

Systems and Technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
