Description

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our employed physician group. The selected candidate must have a strong interest in obesity management and/or have a Certified Diplomate, American Board of Obesity Medicine or an obesity medicine fellowship preferred. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System.

Summa Health's Weight Management Institute has provided weight loss surgical and non-surgical services since 2004. The team is built of 4 providers, 5 advanced practice providers, and dieticians.

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • Certified Diplomate, American Board of Obesity Medicine preferred
    • Or will obtain board certification in obesity medicine (after approximately 2 years of practicing)
  • Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
  • Candidates for this position should have a passion for obesity and weight loss management
