Position Summary: The Compensation Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of Sunstate Equipment's compensation programs. This position is responsible for conducting thorough analyses of internal and external compensation data to ensure the organization's pay practices are competitive, equitable, and compliant with all applicable regulations. A key focus of this role is the active management and optimization of the compensation incentive software system, including configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting. The Compensation Analyst collaborates cross-functionally with Human Resources, Payroll and business leaders to deliver data-driven insights and maintain operational excellence in compensation processes.
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of compensation administration, Finance, or data analysis experience
- Proven track record of administering and maintaining compensation systems or platforms, preferably incentive or sales performance management (Xactly, CaptivateIQ etc)
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- High comfort level working with HRIS, Payroll systems and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, formulas)
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting implementation or enhancement of compensation software tools
- Strong proficiency in commission and bonus processing systems, including system configuration, data integration, testing and trouble shooting
- Strong communication and confidentiality handling
· Administer software systems used to calculate and distribute sales and bonus compensation.
· Assist in the administration of the annual merit increase process, including data analysis, budgeting, and communication.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and best practices related to compensation.
Compensation Planning:· Support the design and implementation of new or revised compensation programs.
· Contribute to the communication and education of compensation programs to employees and managers.
Data Management and Reporting:· Maintain accurate and up-to-date compensation data in HRIS or compensation management systems including sales compensation software systems.
· Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights on compensation trends, cost projections, and compliance.
