The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of marketing initiatives that drive growth, brand visibility, and customer engagement within the construction equipment rental industry. This role ensures alignment across stakeholders by applying structured project management methodologies, with an emphasis on Agile/Scrum practices. The Marketing Project Manager will oversee timelines, budgets, and resources, while also managing procurement of print and promotional materials, coordinating vendor relationships, and maintaining the promotional inventory and fulfillment platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as project manager for cross-functional marketing initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
  • Serve as ScrumMaster for the marketing team, facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, demos, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
  • Manage project tracking, task assignments, and reporting within Jira (and other platforms as needed).
  • Intake and analyze new project requests, identifying and working with marketing leadership to resolve blockers and assess prioritization, ensuring steady and sustainable workflows for creative team
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership, sales, operations, and external partners to align project deliverables with strategic business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, status reports, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Procure print and promotional materials, ensuring cost efficiency and brand consistency.
  • Administer the promotional inventory management system, including order fulfillment, replenishment, and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for assigned projects, ensuring proper allocation of resources.
  • Support continuous improvement of marketing project management processes and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company brand guidelines, policies, and industry standards across all deliverables.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
  • ScrumMaster certification required
  • 3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in marketing
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools; Jira experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience in vendor management, purchasing processes, and inventory oversight for print and promotional products.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
