Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

LOCAL Bill Rate - $82 regardless of contract duration
(local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)

**For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours**

**36 or 48 hour contract**

**Must have EPIC experience

**Must have vent experience

**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6**

Must have the following requirements:
• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment.
• BLS, ACLS required, NIH preferred - must be able to read and interpret strips
• IV Start
• Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a large hospital; level 1 preferred will accept level 2 experience.
• Travel experience preferred

Floating and Other Requirements:
• Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to, including high-risk respiratory unit/COVID.
• If assigned to MVH, this could include floating main campus (Dayton) south campus (Centerville)
less than 10 miles from Main
Campus AND NORTH CAMPUS (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus.
• Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for an 8-week contract.
• Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
• Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.

Unit Details:
High acuity, fast-paced step-down unit. Needs good time management skills.
Excellent critical thinking skills, cardiac monitor interpretation, Ventilator/trach experience, ACLS, manage chest tubes, drains, NIH Stroke Certification, Cardiac drips.
Patient Population: DKA, GI bleed, COPD, Pneumonia, Stroke, Sepsis, Urology complications.
• Daily average census: 31
• Navy Blue Scrubs

RTO
Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.
