**Job Summary:**
The Concierge is responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to guests and residents. This role requires a proactive individual who possesses extensive knowledge of local attractions, events, dining options, and services. The Concierge will act as a liaison between guests and various service offerings, ensuring that all requests are met with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with inquiries, reservations, and requests related to their stay.
- Provide expert recommendations on local attractions, dining venues, entertainment options, and transportation services.
- Assist in making reservations for dining, tours, spa services, and other activities.
- Manage guest requests for special arrangements such as flowers, gifts, or transportation.
- Stay updated on local events, promotions, and amenities to provide current information to guests.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments (front desk, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain a neat and organized concierge desk and area.
- Conduct regular inventory and ordering of concierge-related supplies and materials.
- Uphold company standards and adhere to policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management or related degree is a plus.
- Previous experience in a concierge or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or luxury environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using concierge software, property management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
