The Opportunity:
The Assistant Project Manager will provide support on large public utility construction projects and environmental restoration projects. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Responsibilities:
• Under general supervision, plans, conducts and supervises assignments.
• Reviews progress and evaluates results.
• Plans and assigns personnel for given projects or task.
• Assists with the review and evaluation of personnel performance.
• Interprets and applies organization policy and develops project-specific procedures.
• Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.
• Reviews project status with management.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Strong technical background managing and/or performing technical tasks for environmental projects.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and/or lead teams.
• Computer skills must include Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field required.
• At least 8 years of experience managing or assisting in the management of projects required.

• This position may require walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Heavy lifting may be required.
• At times, fieldwork may require walking in rugged terrain.

• This position requires travel throughout Central and Northern California, occasionally with short notice.
