The Opportunity:
Tetra Tech TDR is seeking a motivated Business Analyst that is interested in learning the operational aspects of the TDR business unit. This is an opportunity to discover a career in consulting with Tetra Tech. In this position you will have the opportunity to build a library of professional experience, skills, and leadership experiences in disaster recovery consulting by being immersed in career-building, training, and development experience across the project lifecycle of our business unit.

Key Responsibilities:
Support aspects of business development and client relations including performing market assessments, client identification, and matching client needs with Tetra Tech technical capabilities.
Coordinate, research, review, analyze, and summarize financial data for grant-funded programs including disaster assistance grants and other federal assistance grant programs
Assist with regular meetings, agendas, and tracking of tasks for reporting
Participate with management in fostering new and existing Tetra Tech client relationships with other businesses within the industry
Research and reconcile federal and state grants, cost data, audits, and other data sets that support the business unit
Research and obtain records for future analysis as part of a larger capture strategy
Consider and present effective capture strategies for targeted opportunities and be able to increase sales and operations across our chosen end markets.
Meet assigned goals and work closely with Tetra Tech technical staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective work products for our clients.
Successfully assist practices with the planning and timely implementation of their projects.
Proactively identify and resolve issues and conflicts.
Support other Tetra Tech staff assigned to projects.
Generally, the Business Analyst will learn and assist in building business processes (through marketing, business development, contracts, and talent acquisition), along with intermittently supporting back of-house functions (accounting/finance, logistics, human resources, information technology, legal affairs, health and safety), and project operations (project and fieldwork in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, or mitigation) if needed.
Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines and changing priorities.
Well-organized with good analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Demonstrated track records of strong performance, excellent communication skills, and leadership experience.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, adaptable, reliable, and motivated.
Ability to work independently at times and meet assigned deadlines on time.
Highly entrepreneurial and driven work ethic with a growth mindset.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to receive and execute instructions.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel regularly for assignments as needed.
