•    Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh, with flexibility for remote and hybrid working arrangements

The Facility

Tetra Tech is currently preparing a proposal to deliver expert technical assistance for the Technical Assistance Facility for Transforming the Financial Sector Programme in Bangladesh, funded by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). We are seeking experienced professionals to join us in driving reforms in Bangladesh's financial sector.

Opportunities Available
We invite expressions of interest from candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
•    Central banking
•    Banking and financial sector policies and regulation 
•    Financial sector legislation, including legal drafting
•    Public sector reform and organisational restructuring
•    HR reform 
•    Financial sector technology (e.g. payment systems, central bank IT systems, cyber security)
•    Programme leadership roles including Team Leader/Chief of Party 
•    Programme management and oversight, ideally with financial sector experience.

Who we are looking for: 

Candidates at various career stages with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Both long-term and short-term assignments will be available.

Essential: 

·       Proven track record in reform processes within public financial institutions or related environments

·       Strong communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English

Desirable: 

·       Familiarity with Bangladesh's political economy and reform context, including direct experience with Bangladesh Bank and/or Ministry of Finance

·       International experience with public finance institutions

·       Experience collaborating with international development agencies such as FCDO, World Bank, IMF, ADB, EU

·       Knowledge of Bangladesh's Technical Assistance Project Proposal approval process

·       Proficiency in written and spoken Bangla
