Tetra Tech has an exciting new opportunity with our Construction Services team in Seattle. This position will integrate with the Construction Management team providing technical support and bridging the gaps between construction administration, document controls and Contractor. The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and the Construction Managers staff.

 

 

Your Role:

  • Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
  • Recommend corrective action and follow up on recommendations.
  • Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
  • Work within web-based document collaboration software to manage documents
  • RFI Management and Change Order Management.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using the Critical Path Method (CPM).
  • Produce project cost and progress reports for Project Manager and Client.
  • Support the Project Control and Estimating personnel assigned to the project.
  • Support the development and maintenance of forecasts for cost and scheduling.
  • Promote communication and teamwork within groups and projects.
  • Develop, schedule and lead project teams on document control items such as submittals, RFI's and Change Orders

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of recent construction project control planning and scheduling experience.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License
  • Ability to read and understand contract documents including drawings and specifications.
  • Self-starter with experience working with subcontracts and coordinating with subcontractors
  • Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, motivational skills.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining schedules with CPM methodology in MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Excel, MS Office.
  • Excellent written /verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate level experience with scheduling software (Primavera 6) a plus.

Salary Range: $86,200 to $122,000 depending on experience
