Summary: 

We are currently seeking a Contracts Administrator/Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to oversee the review, negotiation, and administration of contracts and proposals. As our Contracts Administrator/Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our company's interests while fostering strong relationships with our project teams and our clients.

Your Role: 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to review, redline, negotiate, and administer contracts as well as proposals in response to our clients or Request for Proposals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and redlining commercial, federal and state/local client's agreements. Looking to incorporate and exclude terms that do not comply with our corporate risk management policies. Including terms such as indemnification, consequential damages, scope of services, limits of liability and standard of care.
  • Negotiating terms with clients and working with project teams to understand the risks associated with the work to be performed.
  • Communicating with internal and external customers and a willingness to be a part of a company team.
  • Understanding the insurance requirements in an agreement and working with our insurance company to provide certificates.
  • Occasionally, completing various client contract forms.
  • Researching new client's financial history for management's approval.

Qualifications: 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • Preferred, bachelor's degree in legal studies or business or related field and a minimum 5 years of experience.  
  • Working knowledge of contract terms is required along with strong negotiation skills.
  • 5+ years experience in contract review/administration.
  • Federal Contract Experience (SCA, Davis Bacon), State & Local municipalities.
  • National and International projects.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying complex contract terms and negotiating with clients.
  • Candidate shall also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PDF, and Excel and attention to detail. 
  • A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with state regulations is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions. 

Target salary range:  80,000.00 to 120,000.00. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
