Tetra Tech is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Data and Process Analyst (Entry Level) to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role supports data-driven decision-making and process improvement efforts across multiple projects. Based on your location, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with both technical and business teams to organize, validate, and analyze data to improve operational efficiency and enhance data accuracy.

Position Summary:
The Data and Process Analyst (Entry Level) will collect, validate, and organize data across multiple systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, and support the development of standardized, automated processes. This role helps ensure data integrity, accessibility, and consistency to support informed business and technical decisions across Tetra Tech's projects.
Essential Job Functions:

⦁ Collect, organize, and enter structured and unstructured data into systems with a high degree of accuracy.
⦁ Collaborate with database administrators and technical teams to build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines.
⦁ Validate and audit datasets, ensuring data integrity through cross-referencing and verification.
⦁ Perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
⦁ Assist in developing dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
⦁ Support automation and standardization of data processes and workflows.
⦁ Document institutional knowledge and data logic to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.
⦁ Work closely with team members to align data practices with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
⦁ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, VBA/macros).
⦁ Familiarity with SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Spotfire.
⦁ Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) concepts and relational databases.
⦁ Strong analytical and data validation skills.
⦁ Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
⦁ Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Exposure to quality systems, operational analytics, or process improvement initiatives.
⦁ Experience creating technical documentation or process guides.
⦁ Familiarity with database systems and data governance practices.
⦁ Interest in automation, AI integration, and workflow optimization.
Physical Requirements:
⦁ Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working on a computer.
⦁ Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 25 pounds.
⦁ Frequent use of standard office equipment and computer systems.
Work Environment / Environmental Factors:
⦁ Primarily office-based work environment with standard equipment and moderate noise levels.
⦁ Regular use of computers and standard office software.
