About the role
Focused on the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites, our projects span various scales, locations, and industries. You'll collaborate with a diverse array of clients across Defence, Infrastructure, Government, Mining, Property, and Oil & Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork for a variety of contaminated site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling, while supervising the operation of heavy plant and drilling equipment.
- Observe, guide, and document site remediation activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Manage, interpret, and ensure the quality of data through rigorous quality assurance and quality control processes.
- Assist in writing proposals, project correspondence, and technical reports to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
About you
You will ideally have these qualifications and attributes:
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Hydrogeology or other related disciplines.
- Previous field work (soil or water sampling) experience is highly regarded.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative team-based attitude.
- A genuine enthusiasm for producing high-quality work that delivers practical solutions for our clients.
- Attention to detail and a proactive safety-first mentality to care for yourself, your team, and those working around us.
- Willingness to undertake remote fieldwork as required.
- Australian citizenship and an Australian driver's license are mandatory for this role.
