Your Impact:
The built environment is responsible for nearly 40% of annual global CO2 emissions. The task of delivering a sustainable future that is climate-resilient and socially equitable begins at the building scale. At Cosentini, our fully integrated MEP, Energy Analysis, Sustainability, Commissioning, IT/AV, and Lighting teams are working together to meet that goal and deliver a sustainable future.
Your Role:
- Conduct site visits for conformance with drawings and certification programs.
- Consult building owners and architects on sustainable design and operational strategies for new and existing building.
- Represent Cosentini at client meetings and industry events.
- Perform site investigations, participate in ASHRAE Level I through III energy audits, develop energy savings calculations, review cost estimates and written descriptions of energy conservation measures.
- Provide analysis for repairs, upgrades, or replacements of building systems to assist each building in becoming more energy-efficient and/or LL97 compliant.
- Provide energy modeling for new construction and existing buildings in support of various certifications or energy related local laws.
- Analyze energy trend data analysis for systems, buildings, and campuses.
Qualifications:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, physics, or other quantitative science (EIT, FE or PE registration preferred but not required).
- 0-3+ years experience with energy consulting, building engineering, and/or building science
- Knowledge of MEP systems and sustainable building design.
- Knowledge or experience with LEED, Enterprise Green Communities, and Passive House
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Experience presenting technical/analytical information in a clear and concise manner.
Preferred Qualifications
- Energy modeling experience preferred (IES, EnergyPlus, eQuest, CBECC-com, etc.).
- Energy audit experience preferred
- LEED AP or equivalent certifications preferred.

Compensation:
Pay commensurate with experience.
Pay Range: $36.06 – $40.87 an hour
