Proposal Summary: 

The Irregular Warfare Center Support Services contract will support the Irregular Warfare Center (IWC) under the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). The contract will provide technical, academic, logistical, and administrative services to expand the IWC's curriculum, event development, and partnerships. Key objectives include aligning Department of Defense education on irregular warfare, facilitating research, engaging with governmental and non-governmental entities, and supporting interagency collaboration. The contract requires personnel with TS/SCI security clearance and spans a base year with two-option years. Please note this solicitation is currently in the proposal stage.

 

Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer will support the Irregular Warfare Center (IWC) by producing high-quality visual content that reinforces the Center's mission and strategic messaging across platforms. This role focuses on creating branded graphics, visual storytelling tools, and print/digital products to communicate complex irregular warfare concepts to internal and external audiences. The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Media Specialist to ensure all IWC products maintain a consistent, professional aesthetic aligned with Department of Defense guidelines and the Center's unique identity. This is a part-time role estimated at 10 hours per week, or 40 hours per month, but may change based on need.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design visual content for IWC products including reports, infographics, brochures, posters, placemats, and event materials.
  • Ensure all visual materials align with IWC branding guidelines and support the Center's strategic narrative.
  • Support the layout, design, and publication of IWC's newsletters, journal, and promotional items.
  • Collaborate with the Media Specialist and Technology Services Specialist to enhance web and social media graphics.
  • Provide graphic support for virtual and in-person seminars, including title slides, agendas, and multimedia templates.
  • Develop visual products that translate complex operational and academic concepts into clear, compelling imagery.
  • Assist in the production of branded content for IWC events, including signage, digital collateral, and takeaway materials.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of professional design experience, preferably supporting U.S. Government or DoD organizations.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience designing both print and digital products, with strong layout and typography skills.
  • Ability to translate technical and strategic content into clean, effective visual formats.
  • Skilled in designing visually compelling and creatively innovative content that captures attention and communicates effectively enhances audience engagement and across diverse platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Familiarity with DoD branding, public affairs policies, and government publishing standards is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
  • Active or eligible for NACI clearance required.
