Health & Safety Specialist
Ardaman is hiring a Health & Safety Specialist. Working closely with the company Health & Safety Director, the individual will assist with the implementation of the company health and safety program to ensure a safe, healthy and accident-free work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Director. Assist in safety program implementation, administrative tasks, tracking of safety statistics, training, job safety analysis (JSA) development, and conducting site audits.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- College degree preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Points.
- Safety experience is desired but will train.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Able to access remote job locations, walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain, and able to climb ladders.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Positive attitude, energetic, reliable, and congenial.
- Candidate must be flexible for some travel in southeastern states.
