Convergence Controls and Engineering, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a full-time Operations / Engineering Manager.

 

We are currently seeking an Operations / Engineering Manager to join our Automation Team. The successful candidate for the Operations / Engineering Manager - Automation Team position will work under the supervision of the VP of Engineering and will perform management and automation task on numerous types of projects.  Extensive hands-on experience in industrial automation and people management is required.

 Your Role:     

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Automation and Controls Engineering Team;
  • Work with other senior leaders to develop and implement a growth strategy for automation in the region;
  • Participate in the development of annual and quarterly forecasts and budgeting. Responsible for the execution of the finalized forecasts and budgets and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's);
  • Responsible for the regional Automation Team profit and loss (P&L);
  • Estimating fees and cost associated with work delivered by the Automation Team;
  • Work with the Business Development Team to develop new customers;
  • Perform technical presentations in group settings and interviews;
  • Train and mentor staff and oversee professional development initiatives;
  • Oversee resource planning, project staffing, and labor forecasting;
  • Maintain quality control for all projects and service activities. Developing and promoting company and client best practices;

Qualifications:     

  • BS in engineering from an ABET accredited university;
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and controls (experience in oil and gas / water and wastewater is preferred);
  • Hands on experience in PLC programming, HMI configurations, servers, and networking;
  • 5 years P&L experience in technical services preferred (revenue responsibility above $5 million USD);
  • Valid unrestricted driver's license;

CO Salary: $175,000-$225,000 dependent on experience
