Proposal Summary:
The Irregular Warfare Center Support Services contract will support the Irregular Warfare Center (IWC) under the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). The contract will provide technical, academic, logistical, and administrative services to expand the IWC's curriculum, event development, and partnerships. Key objectives include aligning Department of Defense education on irregular warfare, facilitating research, engaging with governmental and non-governmental entities, and supporting interagency collaboration. The role requires a Secret security clearance and spans a base year with two-option years. Please note this solicitation is currently in the proposal stage.
Position Summary:
The Program Coordinator will support the Irregular Warfare Center (IWC) by executing day-to-day administrative, logistical, and scheduling functions necessary to keep programs and events running efficiently. This junior-to-mid level role focuses on supporting the Operations Integrator and IWC leadership with documentation, communications, and routine task execution. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring event logistics, task tracking, and internal coordination are delivered in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily administrative and logistical operations for IWC programs and events, including task management, document preparation, and meeting scheduling.
- Support travel coordination for senior staff and visiting delegations, including itinerary development, APACS submissions, and records management.
- Track program taskers and deliverables, ensuring timely updates and submissions through systems like CATMS.
- Prepare briefing materials, read-aheads, SOPs, and other supporting documentation for program engagements and leadership activities.
- Maintain organized records of IWC operational products, correspondence, and reports in accordance with federal records guidelines.
- Assist in the development of protocol and participant plans, event branding materials, and visual support for conferences and meetings.
- Support IWC operations staff in protocol, planning, and communication with senior-level U.S. and foreign participants.
- Serve as a liaison between the IWC and other internal departments, external agencies, and academic and international partners to facilitate smooth program execution.
- Assist with financial and travel reporting, and track expenditures in coordination with IWC administrative and budget teams.
- Contribute to document formatting, proofreading, and layout for IWC informational materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, Public Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in program coordination, event support, or administrative operations in a government, military, or academic setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with DoD administrative and travel systems (e.g., APACS, CATMS) is preferred.
- Experience supporting senior-level or international engagements, including protocol and planning responsibilities.
- Familiarity with government records management and reporting standards is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
- Active or eligible for NACI clearance required.
