The role

If you're keen to be more involved in supporting the project lifecycle and gain deeper insight into project management within a professional services consultancy, then this is the career development step for you!


Reporting to the Practice Leader and working closely with the Project Control team, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to work closely with environmental team members and assist them through every project milestone to ensure we achieve client and project deliverables.

 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administration support such as compiling, editing and formatting reports and tenders
  • Providing financial assistance including invoicing, approval of payments, budget claims and time sheets
  • Organising and tracking team training and assisting with new employee inductions
  • Liaising with the travel team to co-ordinate travel logistics and accommodation, assisting to prepare field packs
  • Liaising with project stakeholders including the client, statutory authorities, consultants and contractors
  • Maintaining accurate records via spreadsheets, databases and other record management systems
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as required

 

About you

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join a supportive team within a successful global consultancy.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Experience in a similar administrative or office support role
  • A strong customer service and team focussed approach in all that you do
  • A high level of initiative, organisational skills, and strong attention to detail
  • An ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Competent skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word (and preferably Acrobat)
  • Eagerness to jump in and support a busy team and a positive ‘can-do' attitude to make things happen!
