The Opportunity:

Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with deep experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This full-time role requires a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a proven history of successfully managing complex building projects from concept through completion.

Experience in sectors such as data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or higher education is highly preferred.

Your Role:

As a Project Manager at Glumac, you will lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery—from proposal and fee development to final execution—ensuring alignment with client expectations, budget goals, and technical excellence. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage internal coordination across engineering and accounting teams, and drive overall project success, both financially and technically. You will work with internal and external team members to provide a fully coordinated and thought-out design for every project.

Mechanical and electrical engineering candidates should bring strong technical expertise in their discipline, particularly in complex building systems across sectors such as education, commercial, laboratories, and government. Leadership and client management skills are essential. You will participate in training and mentoring of designers within your discipline.

You will also support business development efforts, assist in proposal responses, and contribute to the growth of our professional community through industry engagement.

What You Bring – Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field is required.
  • 10+ years of previous experience within the AEC industry with a consulting engineering or A/E firm is required.
  • Current California Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • LEED Accreditation is a plus.
  • WELL Certification is a plus.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000

This base salary range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Remember that the listed range is just one component of Glumac's comprehensive compensation package for employees.
