The Opportunity:

Tech2 Solutions (T2S) is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLC team and will be providing program management and technical services in support of the ground & surface water monitoring program at the U.S. Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratory.

 

T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers.

 

T2S is adding a Senior Project Coordinator who is responsible for ensuring that project equipment is requested, procured, received, tracked, and shipped to various international work sites in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) issued by the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security.  This position will be responsible for working with accounts payable department to ensure the timely review, tracking and approval of vendor invoices.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide logistics to support proposal development, working to determine logistic requirements in new statements of work, prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and itineraries necessary to obtain pricing for proposals submitted to the Client.
  • Work with project teams to determine project shipping, in-country interpreting/translation support needs and transportation requirements for equipment to be shipped to countries throughout the world.
  • Prepare, enter and facilitate the approval of purchase requisitions in the financial management system.  Receive deliverables, invoices and other documentation to trigger payment to subcontractors/vendors.
  • Source, acquire and ship materials, equipment and supplies that support site construction and installation of radiation detection and communication systems to locations across the globe.
  • Work with procurement, project, and various logistic support subcontractors to ensure the subcontracted logistic support is provided
  • Resolve issues with subcontracted logistic support, and Statement of Work changes; modify subcontracts to support project changes that will occur from time to time.
  • Process applications to obtain export licenses for all equipment purchased or manufactured in the U.S. and shipped to other countries
  • Maintain documentation of shipping and licenses sufficient to prove compliance with these regulations.
  • Support activities requesting proposal from vendors and / or subcontractors.
  • Monitor and track project's progress and make certain that clients' needs are met
  • Report and escalate project issues/concerns to management as needed
  • Respond to calls during off duty hours to support logistics responsibilities.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or similar field and five years of experience with government contracts.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office; Deltek Costpoint 7 experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
