The Opportunity:

We are adding a Subcontract Administrator to support our Richland, WA office. This position will be a hybrid role with the ability to appear in office as needed. This position will fulfill the procurement and subcontracting needs of both our federal government and commercial projects.

Your Role:

  • Be an active team member to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Work with high initiative and drive to complete assignments on time with exceptional quality
  • Balance multiple priorities while keeping workload organized
  • Ability to determine appropriate flow-downs preferred, but not required
  • Prepare and issue competitive and non-competitive solicitations
  • Oversee and/or prepare and negotiate purchasing documents (e.g., purchase orders, terms and conditions)
  • Conduct supplier negotiations (e.g., price, lead time, communication process, and contract development, etc.)
  • Prepare award determination memos that document source selection, cost justification, risk management, and technical qualifications of selected suppliers
  • Prepare request for consent packages
  • Prepare and award purchase orders and subcontracts for services, materials, supplies and equipment within delegated purchasing authority
  • Analyze price or cost to determine if the selected supplier is offering a fair and reasonable price
  • Analyze a supplier to Commercial Evaluation criteria
  • Maintain complete and compliant digital procurement files on shared database
  • Review subcontractor invoices for compliance with order terms
  • Ensure purchasing activities are in accordance with applicable federal regulations or client requirements.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business or other related field, is required
  • 3+ years of subcontract administration/procurement experience awarding and managing contracts
  • Experience handling multiple internal customers with competing priorities
  • Working knowledge of different contract types (i.e. firm fixed price, fixed unit price, time & material, cost reimbursement), and the Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel), acrobat and SharePoint
  • Oracle experience is preferred, but not required
  • Experience working with foreign subcontractors is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience soliciting, awarding and managing complex subcontracts is preferred, but not required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:

Pay commensurate with experience.

Pay Range: $80,000-$110,000 Yearly

 

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
