IT Director/Senior Director Remote:  Location Preference of Boston, Denver, Atlanta or Chicago

Salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year

Position Summary: As Director/Sr Director, IT for SSG's Autism & Community practice, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our IT strategy for one of SSG's business units. You will be part of the executive leadership team for the Autism & Community (A&C) practice, part of the SSG overall IT leadership team, and you will oversee the partners responsible for managing our technology infrastructure, systems, and digital initiatives. The Director/Sr Director will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless operations, data security, and innovation across the practice unit.


Outcomes:
  • Ensure 100% of new center launches happen on-time, on-budget and to clinical team specifications and needs
  • Identify $250K of wasted IT spend and partner with Finance and Operations to remove/reduce that wasted spend
  • Support existing facilities (~35) and clinical and ops staff (~2,000) with incredibly high customer service
  • Be a sought after partner for the A&C President and Leadership Team on complex business needs

Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and communicate the practice unit's IT vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Align IT initiatives with business goals and objectives
  • Drive digital transformation efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
2. Technology Infrastructure:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust IT infrastructure
  • Manage network architecture, servers, storage, and cloud services
  • Support the technology needs of the new autism centers the A&C launches every year, from design to implementation and partner oversight
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems
3. Application Management:
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of software solutions that optimize business processes
  • Evaluate existing software solutions for functionality, reliability, cost, and security
  • Collaborate with functional leaders to identify technology needs
  • Monitor application performance and address issues promptly
4. Data Management and Analytics:
  • Define data governance policies and practices
  • Leverage data analytics to drive informed decision-making
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with regulations
5. Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity protocols
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing
  • Mitigate security threats and incidents
6. Team Leadership:
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • As the A&C practice grows, identify and select high-potential teammates to fill out the IT organization
  • Provide guidance on professional development
7. Vendor Management:
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with technology vendors
  • Monitor vendor performance, introduce SLAs where they are lacking, and manage adherence to SLAs
  • Optimize vendor relationships
8. Budgeting and Cost Control:
  • Prepare and manage the IT budget
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Monitor expenses and track ROI

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Masters preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles
  • Proven track record of successful IT strategy development and execution
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Logistics:
  • Reports to: Chief Information Officer with dotted line to President of Autism & Community practice
  • Location: Remote, with a preference for Boston, Chicago, Denver or Atlanta
  • Compensation: Competitive base and performance bonus opportunity
