Transwestern is currently executing a bold transformation plan designed to maximize growth and create consistency across the organization. Our Head of Brand will be foundational to this goal. As a brand steward, they must communicate the value of our nimble, integrated platform and introduce forward-looking solutions and services to aid in securing high-profile assignments. A dedicated Head of Brand is essential to shape these objectives into a unified identity that elevates our market standing and increased brand awareness.
The Head of Brand will lead the evolution and consistent execution of the Transwestern brand across our organization and will be responsible for enhancing brand identity, driving customer engagement, and increasing market share. This individual will work collaboratively across geographies, product types, and lines of business to ensure that brand expression and messaging align with established guidelines and support the firm's broader strategic goals, spanning all marketing channels—from website and printed collateral to pitch materials and property signage.
Reporting to Transwestern's Chief Marketing Officer, this pivotal role demands a collaborative, visionary leader with a strong background in brand marketing, graphic design, creative direction, and team management. A record of turning strategy into measurable outcomes is essential.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Brand Strategy Leadership:
- Define a distinctive brand point of view that supports Transwestern's growth priorities and sharpens its competitive edge across regions, offices, and companies
- Translate the strategy into clear visual systems, templates, and campaigns across every channel to reinforce the brand standard and communicate its value at every touchpoint (company website, marketing and business development materials, social media, signage, advertising, and events)
- Guide the conception and production of content for varied stakeholder audiences, ensuring consistency and impact, both internally and externally.
- Design and maintain high-impact templates and marketing assets for use by national, regional, and local marketing teams.
Brand Governance and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Champion and enforce brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all communications and marketing assets.
- Ensure the Transwestern brand is activated effectively across business units.
- Partner with internal teams, including national business development and property marketing, to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and channels.
Governance & Collaboration:
- Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all business units and materials.
- Partner with national product marketing, business development, property marketing, and other teams to align messaging and execution.
- Clearly communicate with and implement feedback from Transwestern leadership
- Direct agency and vendor relationships to deliver quality consistent work
Team Oversight and Growth:
- Provide leadership to the brand team and regional creative directors, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop creative talent, aligning responsibilities with firm objectives.
Continuous Monitoring and Innovation:
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of brand marketing and social media campaigns.
- Regularly analyze performance data to inform future strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for brand growth and innovation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in marketing & graphic design or related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in brand marketing and strategy
- Proven success in launching new brands, enhancing existing ones, and implementing brand governance in large, matrixed organizations.
- Expertise in brand strategy, sales enablement, and content development.
- Extensive experience managing high-value brand initiatives and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong team, project, and workflow management abilities and track record.
- Knowledge of commercial real estate industry a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing agency partnerships and ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
- Deep understanding of competitive landscapes and differentiation opportunities.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- Web Design, Adobe XD, Figma, HTML and email design experience a plus.
- Understanding of both traditional print process and web based-digital process providers.
Personal Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills (written and verbal) to influence decision-making at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and consensus-gaining skills across organizational levels.

- Ability to travel as necessary according to business needs.
