POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Tenant Representation Team by providing analytical support for a variety of CRE scenarios. The Senior Analyst works closely with brokers to develop financial analyses to support our clients' decision-making. The Senior Analyst will have knowledge of various real estate asset types, asset cash flows, lease vs. purchase and local investment and property markets. The ideal candidate will have superior quantitative skills and be a team player who flourishes in a fast-paced environment.

It is also the responsibility of the Senior Financial Analyst not only to exhibit legendary customer service when communicating with brokers and clients but also to focus on productivity and results.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support brokers in the execution of tenant representation assignments.

  • Provide complex financial analysis of commercial leasing and building ownership scenarios.

  • Prepare and present analyses via compelling spreadsheets, charts and graphics.

  • Read and abstract LOI's and Leases.

  • Conduct Operating Expense Reconciliations.

  • Assist with RFP responses.

  • Collaborate with Marketing; participate in presentations.

  • Train new broker associates.

  • Ensure the timely production, accuracy and quality of work product.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor's degree with emphasis in real estate, finance, economics, mathematics or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in investment, finance, or investment banking.

  • Prior CRE experience highly valued.

  • Financial modeling expertise.

  • Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 Word and Adobe; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.

  • Knowledge of CoStar and other related CRE listing software a plus.

  • Demonstrate strong financial analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents.

  • Strong marketing, presentation and communications skills.

  • Stay abreast of current market conditions, practices, trends and factors that impact real estate investment markets.

  • Ability to provide general direction/be self-managed/work independently.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal and external clients.

  • Ability to keep information and internal communications confidential.

  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work beyond standard hours when needed to meet project deadlines.

  • Local travel may be required.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000
