Summary: The primary function of Travis Credit Union's (TCU) Infrastructure Engineer is to ensure efficient, strategic use of core platforms, services, and technologies which provide foundational technical services to the business as offered by TCU's Technology Solutions organization. This role provides analysis, development, and operational support of servers, storage, virtualization, and networking solutions, including defining, analyzing, creating, and supporting new services or solutions, modification and development of new functionality system integration, testing, maintenance, monitoring, and operational oversight of assigned solutions and services, independently or in cooperation with other technology teams, to advance business objectives. Profile:
- Supports deployment maintenance and monitoring of network devices, servers, storage, virtual environments, and telephony services, in datacenter and colocation environments.
- Provides input into and supports the execution of organizational/project/operational endeavors.
- Identifies, understands, and plans for organizational and human impacts on systems and services.
- Provides end-to-end service implementation with supporting documentation(s), diagrams, support documents, process documents.
- Performs Root Cause Analysis of incidents, documents the RCA findings and mitigation/remediation steps.
- Communicates incidents and incident status activities to management and team through ticketing and/or other forms of communication channels, Teams, Email etc.
- Assists or leads the troubleshooting and resolution of issues/incidents,
- Follows change management process, and participates in weekly CAB functions.
- Participates in the training and on-going mentoring of new team members as required.
- Adheres to industry standards for best practices, TCU policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance for the successful completion and delivery of work.
- Adheres to Service Level Agreements or Objectives.

- Ability to work through project lifecycle, as defined by TCU
- Experienced in Microsoft 365 administration of user accounts, licensing, managing security and governance policies, compliance center, and data retention policies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and related services
- Proficiency in PowerShell and administrative scripting
- Skilled in the design, implementation, and ongoing support of virtual desktop environments across VMware and Hyper‑V environments.
- System Management: Experience with tools like Microsoft System Center (SCCM) or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for deployment and management, Jamf, Intune and Apple Business Manager.
- Experience with software packaging, distribution, patch management, antivirus software, and other support tools.

- Some college education and a minimum of 2 years previous professional experience; or 4 years of professional work experience in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated technical ability in a related field.

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience; or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
- Work experience as a replacement for education must show advanced technical ability in the support, maintenance, operations, training, and delivery of complex infrastructure solutions to a set of diverse business functions.
- Associate Infrastructure Engineer: Grade 17/Non-Exempt $45.85 – $56.64/hour
- Infrastructure Engineer: Grade 20/Non-Exempt $59.62 – $73.65/hour
