Summary of Job Duties: This Staff Scientist will execute high-throughput screening (HTS) of focused compound libraries in a newly developed resource in the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute (WPRCI) at UAMS. The successful candidate has PhD experience in chemical biology and will perform assay development and HTS on the targets of interest of WPRCI scientists.
Qualifications:
Associate Staff Scientist: Doctoral degree and 5 years of relevant experience, including progressive staff and project management experience. Postdoctoral fellowship experience preferred.
Principal Staff Scientist: Doctoral degree and 10 years of relevant experience; including significant project management experience, personnel supervision, and editorial and scientific contributions to grants. Postdoctoral fellowship experience preferred
