Fitness Specialist Cardiac Rehab Details
Essential Job Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Deliver patient care, education, pain management, and appropriate referrals following clinical protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care as needed, and communicate significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Uphold patient rights, act as an advocate, and contribute to staff development and team collaboration.
- Facilitate all phases of cardiac rehab through exercise planning, vitals monitoring, education, and emergency response.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science
- Cardiac Rehab experience preferred
- Ability to identify cardiac rhythms and ECG tracings, including invalid readings
- Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills
License/Certification:
- ACLS, CCRP, and ACE certifications required within 12 months of hire
