Fitness Specialist Cardiac Rehab Details

Essential Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Deliver patient care, education, pain management, and appropriate referrals following clinical protocols.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust care as needed, and communicate significant changes to the healthcare team.
  • Uphold patient rights, act as an advocate, and contribute to staff development and team collaboration.
  • Facilitate all phases of cardiac rehab through exercise planning, vitals monitoring, education, and emergency response.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science
  • Cardiac Rehab experience preferred
  • Ability to identify cardiac rhythms and ECG tracings, including invalid readings
  • Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills
     

License/Certification:

  • ACLS, CCRP, and ACE certifications required within 12 months of hire
