To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless high quality, comprehensive Pediatric Gastroenterology care, we are seeking BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
The successful candidates will join a dedicated team of 7 Gastroenterologists and 6 APP's who work together to meet the clinical and academic goals of the Gastroenterology Department and satisfy the needs of the Hospital's growing patient population. The team treats a broad range of gastrointestinal and nutritional problems including motility disorders, aerodigestive disorders and inflammatory bowel disease.
LOCATION: Binghamton, NY is located 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. A progressive college community town that offers a large healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra and an opera company.
Position includes a competitive starting salary of $275,000 to $385,000 and higher, plus a highly competitive sign on bonus, annual bonus incentives, moving expenses, and a vast array of employment benefits including a robust retirement plan.
Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital, affiliated with the SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY and the Binghamton University Health Sciences Center, United Health Services Hospitals trains over 100 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs. We also have an adult gastroenterology fellowship program and the pediatric gastroenterologist can be part of the teaching faculty for this program if they desire to.
