- Travel Telemetry/Medsurg float RN's are needed for an 8 week assignment to start ASAP in a Hospital located in West Virginia.
- Shifts consist of 7am-7:30pm.
- The RN will work every other weekend.
- They work with CHF, Cardiac Cath, chest pain, Pneumonia, Chronic renal disease, COPD, Ortho, and Oncology Patients.
- The Oncology RN's at the hospital will give the nurses their Chemo treatments.
- The RN's could be expected to float between the 7 different Telemetry units.
- They might also float to Critical Care but only if they have that experience.
- They will only see patients that are in their scope of practice.
- Job Requirements
- RN with ACLS should easily be able to pass the cardiac rhythm exam.
- Schedule Information
- Shifts consist of 7am-7:30pm.
- The RN will work every other weekend.
- They will consider RN's for a guarantee of 36 hours per week but they prefer RN's willing to work 48 hours per week.
- Unit Specific Information
- PCU Nurse to patient ratio 1:4 and MedSurg/Telemetry Nurse to Patient ratio are 1:5-6 depending on acuity of the patient.
- They have (2 what they call Pairs Units) meaning they have a PCA - (Patient Care Assistant).
- Additional Details
- ACLS, BLS;50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE
- RN with ACLS should easily be able to pass the cardiac rhythm exam.
- Bridgeport, WV the hospital is exit 124. The next exit up is the mall, a gym, planet fitness, and a movie theater.
- Exit 119 which is 4 miles from the hospital has a Super Walmart, and Sams Club, and several other restaurants.
- Pittsburgh is located 2 hours away.
