Physician Assistant- Neonatal ICU - Opportunity

Join and train with the experts delivering highest level of compassionate care to infants of various settings including the delivery room, NICU, special care nurseries, well-baby nurseries, with day/night service in a brand new state of the art facility.

University Health Women's & Children's Hospital growing Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Level IV maternal delivery service is seeking a full-time Neonatal Physician Assistant with postgraduate training in Neonatology.

An exciting opportunity for PA's with special interest in the neonatal setting, an externship position is available.

Summary:

• Clinical services centered in our brand-new Women's & Children's hospital NICU
• Level IV NICU and Level IV maternal delivery service with 5,000 births/year
• The NICU is 83 bed NICU composed of a combination of single rooms and 16 open bay beds. Clinical services include ECMO, iNO, whole body cooling, HFOV, pediatric surgery, and all pediatric surgical/medical subspecialties.
• Teaching of residents, fellows and medical students is an integral part of the job
• Work with a team of 3 hospitalists and 13 Neonatal APP's managing 4 teams of high-risk neonates
• High degree of collaboration with multidisciplinary team of faculty neonatologists, neonatal practitioners and other health care professionals
• Weekday, weekend and night call schedule required
