Position Summary: 

The IS Operations Analyst supports the Information Services (IS) department operations, including but not limited to creation and analysis of complex data, process improvement initiatives, regulatory tracking, audits, work-plan development, policy development and survey reviews.  Incumbent is also responsible for leading major concurrent complex operational initiatives from initiation through implementation, including coordinating the efforts of internal UCI Health team members and third-party contractors or consultants, tracking and communicating progress of initiatives/tasks and identifying/mitigating risks & issues.

Salary Range: 

 

Annual Rate  Minimum  $90,500.00                           Midpoint               $130,100.00                         Maximum              $169,700.00

 

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.

Strong interpersonal skills

Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Ability to manage multiple fast-paced technical projects of medium to large size and medium to high complexity

Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities

Ability to manage multiple fast-paced initiatives of medium to large size and of varying complexity

Must demonstrate exceptional customer service skills

Demonstrated attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to determine relevance and prioritize tasks.

Effective skill at tracking effort and project progress.

Proven leadership ability. Effective problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to put forth persuasive arguments

Minimum 3 years of project management/ facilitation experience

Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare environment

Recent clinical experience in ortho/spine specialty

Demonstrated competency in selecting and implementing organization methods and techniques.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience using Clarity RPM, Planview, Innotas or other Project Portfolio Management (PPM tool)

PMP certification or equivalent
