Description

The Program Manager will collaborate closely with Program Leadership, Faculty, and Staff to oversee and support various aspects of program management and student success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Student Support: Assisting with day-to-day student support, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive student experience throughout the program.
  • Student Recruitment: Actively participating in student recruitment efforts, including outreach, engagement, lead nurturing and promotion of the program to prospective students.
  • Collaboration with Faculty & Administration: Partnering with faculty and campus administration to ensure alignment and support for degree programs and academic initiatives.
  • Program Support: Providing operational support to ensure the smooth execution of the program, including coordination of resources, schedules, and communication.


Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree; Three to five years experience in a field relevant to the program; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Master's degree and experience in higher education; knowledge of salesforce or CRM programs.
  • 3-5 years of marketing industry experience preferred


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Student Recruitment & Outreach
  • Actively support recruitment initiatives by engaging prospective students through targeted outreach, information sessions, and virtual events.
  • Nurture prospective student leads by providing timely follow-up, program information, and personalized guidance to increase application conversions.
  • Promote the program through various channels, including digital campaigns, webinars, student testimonials, and other engagement activities.
Admissions and Enrollment Support
  • Guide prospective students through the admission process.
  • Coordinate with the admissions team to streamline application processing and improve the prospective student experience.
  • Assist admitted students with enrollment tasks such as course registration, document submission, etc.
Onboarding & Orientation
  • Design and deliver virtual and/ or in-person onboarding activities to ensure students are well-prepared for academic success
  • Help students navigate university systems (LMS, SIS, advising tools) and connect them with essential resources (academic support, career services, bursar office etc.)
  • Design and offer student-focused events, such as information sessions, online networking events and other community-building activities for online environments (may require some evening and weekend online sessions).
Academic & Administrative Support
  • Provide individualized guidance on course selection, registration, and scheduling.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for student inquiries
  • Proactively monitor student progress, academic performance reports, and engagement metrics.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine support services that address the unique needs of online students from enrollment through graduation. marketing, prospecting, and recruitment events.
  • Coordinate and streamline communications, workflows, and resources across departments (e.g., admissions, registrar, IT and faculty support).
Retention and Success Interventions
  • Identify and reach out to at-risk students, offering targeted support and resources.
  • Facilitate workshops, webinars, or peer networking opportunities to improve engagement and persistence.
  • Collaborate with faculty and advisors to address academic challenges and remove barriers to success.
Compliance & Records
  • Maintain accurate student records to meet university policies and accreditation standards.
  • Ensure FERPA compliance and protect student data privacy.
Data Assessment & Reporting:
  • Track, analyze and report on key student success metrics such as retention, persistence, course completion, and satisfaction.
  • Use data to inform continuous improvement of student services and targeted interventions.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for student outcomes and program effectiveness.


Additional Information

Remote Notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. May be required to use personal computer and other standard office equipment. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
