Responsibilities
Director of Resident Services
We are seeking an energetic, compassionate, and service-oriented Director of Resident Services to join our leadership team. This individual will play an integral role in creating an exceptional resident experience by ensuring residents feel welcomed, valued, supported, and connected to their community.
The Resident Services Director oversees the coordination and delivery of resident services, promotes resident satisfaction, fosters meaningful relationships, and serves as an important liaison between residents, families, and community leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an approachable leader, and someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a senior living environment.
Qualifications
- Qualified applicants are required to possess a minimum of 10 years prior experience in a similar role with management experience in an area that has a strong emphasis on gerontology (i.e., social worker, nurse, or psychologist).
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Nursing, Sociology, Psychology, and/or Gerontology or a related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
- Current CPR certification is required or must be willing and able to become CPR certified.
- Knowledge, understanding and demonstrated ability to deal with gerontological issues.
- Knowledge of Federal and State laws regarding elder care and assisted living and subsequent compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, enthusiastic, resourceful, organized and possesses strong personal awareness of nonverbal communication.
- Ability to use a resident and customer-focused approach to problem solving, goal setting and management philosophy.
- Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.

Pay Range
USD $91,545.19 - USD $119,016.20 /Yr.
