Operations Support Specialist & Yard Maintenance 

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Operations Support Specialist & Yard Maintenance to join our team. This role combines administrative operational support with hands-on facility and grounds maintenance to help ensure smooth daily operations at our facility. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both in an office environment and outdoors.

Position Overview

The Operations Support Specialist & Yard Maintenance provides clerical and administrative support to department managers while assisting with daily operational coordination. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining the facility grounds, building areas, and yard to ensure a clean, safe, and professional environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, from office coordination to light maintenance and outdoor work.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Administrative Support

• Create, distribute, and close customer service tickets daily.

• Maintain and distribute departmental information and updates.

• Communicate with supervisors and managers regarding operational or dispatch issues.

• Prepare and maintain operational reports as directed by management.

• Use software tools to track and manage tasks such as:

  • Time and attendance

  • Safety incidents

  • Contract labor tracking

• Assist with operational projects and initiatives.

• Communicate with customers regarding service issues when needed.

• Coordinate scheduling and work assignments with employees.

Yard & Facility Maintenance

• Perform general building and facility maintenance.

• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, storage areas, garages, and facility grounds.

• Walk property regularly to identify repairs or safety concerns.

• Remove environmental hazards and maintain a safe work environment.

• Maintain parking lot and surrounding property.

• Perform landscaping duties including:

  • Mowing grass

  • Trimming trees and shrubs

  • Weeding flower beds

  • Edging borders

  • Cleaning gutters

• Perform painting or minor repairs as needed.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in company-sponsored training programs.

• Stay current on job-related technology and operational tools.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
