We are a multidisciplinary team that supports youth in working toward goals that support mental health and overall well-being. This position requires a clinician who approaches their work with cultural humility and is enthusiastic about working in community in a highly diverse environment. This position will be working with children and adults across the lifespan. Services offered are individual therapy, family therapy, treatment with parents, and group therapy with a range of trauma-informed interventions. For a full description of benefit offerings, please visit: https://wellpower.org/workplace-of-choice/.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide intensive individual therapy, family therapy and crisis intervention in a community-based setting in English and/or Spanish. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support people we serve needs. Provide advocacy when needed.</li> <li>Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up.</li> <li>Skilled working in an inclusive, culturally sensitive, and reflective manner.</li> <li>Develop relationships with community partners, members and organizers; as well as provide support where needed.</li> <li>Effective in working independently with clinical judgments of mental health issues.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.</li> <li>Participate in team/department meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>EDUCATION:</strong> Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or other related human services degree, licensed as an LCSW, LPC or LMFT by the State of Colorado preferred.</p> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE:</strong> Knowledge, experience, and skill in clinical modalities used in therapy. Experience with cross-agency collaboration, treating aggression, family conflict, parental depression/mental health issues, and trauma. Experience engaging the community and working with diverse populations.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge or ability to learn and practice trauma informed principles and practices.</li> <li>Knowledge of methods of psychotherapy.</li> <li>Competency with diversity, inclusiveness, and equity.</li> <li>Knowledge of community resources.</li> <li>Work independently in community settings.</li> <li>Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene appropriately.</li> <li>Familiarity with the DSM-V and diagnostic techniques.</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proficient in culturally sensitive and inclusive work, and ability to implement within practice.</li> <li>Ability to work flexible hours and some evenings.</li> <li>Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.</li> <li>Spanish language fluency is preferred.
