Wilson Health is looking for a direct hire Registered Nurse - PRN for our Occupational Health offices. Key Perks and Benefits:

- Responsible for Occupational Health Clinic services (hospital based or industry based). Plan, organize, and coordinate all shift functions to meet stated objectives of OH Clinic. Orient First Responders to the company's OH clinic.
- Willingness to orient and cover off-site locations under the Occupational Medicine umbrella as need arises.
- Actively engage in the credentialing process with vendor partners, ensuring all required documentation is submitted in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all credentialing requirements set forth by vendor partners, including background checks, licensing verification, and continuing education.
- Submit all required documents and information promptly to vendor partners, ensuring smooth and efficient credentialing completion.
- Complete any necessary training or certification by vendor partners to maintain credentialing eligibility.
- Attend WMH-OHS department meetings or WMH-OHS offsite meetings as applicable.
- Use the nursing process to assess each client, determine applicable nursing diagnosis, develop a plan of care, implement mutually agreed upon plan of care, and evaluate the effectiveness of each plan of care.
- Administer first aid and/or medical treatment to employees who sustain injuries on the job or become ill during working hours, in accordance with established practices, policies and site-specific standing protocols. Educate employees about identified health issues. Make referrals for all injured or ill clients by following site-specific standing protocols.
- Complete and maintain non-work related medical/nursing documentation as confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA. Maintain compliance with all State of Ohio and Federal Laws governing the practice of nursing.
- Maintain detailed records in cases of injury, illness, treatments and circumstances leading to an injury or near miss.

- Maintain inventory of supplies, medications, and equipment.
- Be familiar with off-site Occupational Health Clinic policies, procedures, and protocols, including each company specific Worksite Health Management program.
- Participate in Case Management activities by assisting with the coordination of FMLA, Short-Term Disability and/or Long Term Disability programs. Plan and organize RTW programs, gradual or transitional, occupational or non-occupational, as specified in each Worksite Health Management program.
- Schedule and/or conduct baseline and annual audiometric testing for all employees as identified in each company's Hearing Conservation Program. All audiometric testing and training records will be kept in each employee's medical file unless directed otherwise by the company.
- Assist each company's Workers' Compensation Representative in planning and organizing physician contacts, independent medical exams, and investigations of employee activities with respect to Workers' Compensation.
- Assist with the identification of appropriate transitional work for injured workers to minimize or eliminate days away from work.
- Work with the Wellness Committee and area medical providers.
- Maintain the Wellness program records.
- Provide regular reports to site-specific designee.
- Conduct educational classes for clients/companies.
- Educational offerings: First Aid, CPR and Blood Borne Pathogens, Wellness Topics, etc.
- Graduate of a nursing program from an accredited Registered Nursing School required.
- Ohio RN or multistate RN license required
- BSN highly preferred
- Candidate must have 2 years experience working within hospital (Emergency and Occupational Health experience highly preferred)
- Hearing conservation and Spirometry preferred or able to obtain within 6 months
- Must be CPR certified and able to obtain First aid instructor certification within 6 months
- Phlebotomy certification must be obtained within 6 months
