About the Role:
We're looking for a creative and culture-savvy Content Creator and Social Media Specialist who knows how to stop the scroll. This person will concept, produce, create, and star in engaging social content across platforms. You'll help shape our brand voice online, drive engagement, and grow our audience through authentic, trend-aware content that resonates with U.S. based renters.
What You'll Do:
- Own the creation of social-first video content from ideation and scripting to filming, voiceover, and editing with a strong understanding of what performs on platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
- Act as a face and voice of the brand in short-form video (voiceovers, on-camera appearances, etc.)
- Define and create branded style templates for new and existing social content (e.g., Instagram Stories, carousels, Reels covers.)
- Post content directly to platforms and manage boosting through paid promotion tools.
- Stay on top of internet culture and platform trends, with an eye for what's resonating in the U.S. right now.
- Collaborate on content calendar development, bringing ideas to brainstorms and aligning content with campaign moments, seasonal events, and product updates.
- Engage with the community in a way that builds loyalty and reflects our values.
- Monitor and analyze content performance data and apply learnings to future content.
- Write compelling copy and captions that reflect the brand's personality and tone as needed.
- Assists with influencer research and communications as needed.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in digital content creation, social media and social-first design, marketing, or a similar role.
- A portfolio of social content that showcases strong storytelling and visual creativity.
- Comfortable and confident on camera, with a natural presence and storytelling ability.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
- Sharp eye for trends and memes, especially within U.S. digital culture.
- Proficiency in video editing tools and content design tools.
- Strong writer, especially for short-form captions and scripts.
- Familiarity with platform-native posting tools and paid promotion/boosting features.
- Organized and proactive — able to juggle timelines, deadlines, and evolving content needs.
Helpful to Have:
- Experience in the multifamily, lifestyle, or consumer tech space.
- Familiarity with brand-building on Instagram and/or TikTok.
- Knowledge of SEO and social media analytics tools.
