Position Summary:
Must Reside in New Jersey with the ability to commute to our Secaucus, NJ office.
This internship is within our NYK Group Americas (NGA) Inc. company.
The position has the potential to develop into a full-time opportunity upon college graduation.
Seeking candidates with a graduation date by May 2026.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
NA Pricing:
- Participate in regular face to face team meetings and support NA Pricing daily activities, including, but not limited to, generating rate quotations for customers.
- Review various NA Pricing procedures to identify improvements that can be implemented by business process changes or IT solutions.
Skills:

- Business Knowledge - understanding of Roll On, Roll Off (RoRo) shipping business, ocean carrier business, or logistics business is helpful, but not required.
- Proficient with (or able to quickly learn) Microsoft Office suite of modules including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Education and Experience: Currently enrolled in and attending a university in pursuit of a bachelor's degree, with a graduation date by May 2026
Schedule and Logistics:
- Duration of employment from May through August (flexible with start date and end date based on student's college schedule); expectation is at least 10 weeks of employment.
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for 35 hours per week (does not include lunch break).
- Work style is a combination of in-office work and remote work from home office.
- Laptop and any required work materials to be provided for duration of employment.
- Office location is 300 Lighting Way, Secaucus, NJ 07094.
