Salary: $52,857 - $87,801

 

As a Sales Specialist for our Contract Logistics division, you will be responsible for generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth by selling our logistics and supply chain management services. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and ensuring client satisfaction through tailored logistics solutions.

  • Business Development: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the 3PL sector through strategic prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients by researching market trends, understanding client needs, and presenting customized 3PL solutions.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and drive growth in new and existing markets.
  • Proposal Management: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, clearly articulating the value of our 3PL services and solutions.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, providing exceptional service and support to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Insights: Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the 3PL sector to identify new business opportunities and enhance our service offerings.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and client feedback to management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, advertising, communications or a related field
  • Adobe Creative Cloud experience is preferred
  • Prior sales experience in logistics or supply chain is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to remain professional, confident, and patient at all times.
  • Must be able to work effectively and contribute value with limited direction.

  • Interact with employees and customers in an appropriate manner.
  • Use a computer for tasks such as making updates to CRM, communicating via email and voice.
  • Present to customers and other stakeholders in a professional and effective manner.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
