To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Control Software Architect located in Shanghai.

Reporting to the Software Manager, the Control Software Architect role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

• Work with global cross-functional teams and perform team management
• Provide simulation and digital control loop design expertise in fields: PFC, inverter, DCDC or battery management systems
• Create clear high-level SW Architectural design based on system and/or stakeholder requirements
• Design-in of Flex vertical integration architecture description involves the principles and practices of modeling and representing architectures, using mechanisms such as architecture description languages, architecture viewpoints, and architecture frameworks
• Work with cross-functional teams in defining requirements, risks and mitigation reviews, and ensure subsystem requirements meet system requirements and applicable quality and regulatory standards
• Follow company disciplined product development process and participate in technical reviews, ensuring design and documentation traceability, and confirming that design outputs meet design inputs
• System bring-up, debug, validation, till to production
• Publish software test plan and reports
• Mentor junior engineers

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• University degree - preferably computer science, electronics or similar
• Minimum 7 years in Embedded Software
• Good knowledge of power circuit ACDC, DCDC or DCAC control algorithm, including SVPWM algorithm, FOC algorithm, phase-shift PWM control, PID control and feedforward control
• Build the power circuit model, simulate and analyze the control algorithm with MATLAB simulink
• Preferred AUTOSAR development (Microsar, Tresos, Basic & Application SW) experience
• Preferred software development processes such as Automotive SPICE
• Preferred development experience in functional safety (ISO26262)
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
• Be willing to travel in china and globally
