Position Overview: The highly skilled and visionary IT Manager of Architecture will lead the design, development, and governance of our IT architecture across multiple platforms and systems. This role is critical to ensuring our technology infrastructure is aligned with business goals, scalable, secure, and efficient. The IT Manager of Architecture will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee technical projects, and provide strategic input into the enterprise’s overall IT direction. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership: Lead the architecture team in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and cost-effective IT solutions that meet current and future business needs. Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT architecture strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives, working closely with senior leadership to shape the IT roadmap. Technology Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency, security, and scalability across all IT platforms and services. Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business stakeholders, including project managers, developers, system administrators, and external vendors, to ensure the successful design and implementation of architecture solutions. Innovation and Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the IT architecture. Risk Management: Identify, mitigate, and manage risks associated with IT architecture and system integration, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery measures are in place. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage budget allocations for architectural projects, ensuring efficient use of resources while delivering on time and within budget. Minimum Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field * 8+ of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role * Proven experience in leading large-scale IT architecture initiatives across multiple platforms (cloud, on-premises, hybrid environments) * Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent). * Expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures * Familiarity with network architecture, data storage solutions, and cybersecurity best practices. * Proficient in DevOps practices, automation tools, and agile methodologies * Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
