Kelly Services is seeking a Biologist for one of our top clients.

Duration: 05/12/2025 to 11/11/2025
Type: Contract W2
Pay Rate: $32.00/hr. (W2)
Interview Process: Virtual or Onsite

Responsibilities:
 

• Primarily provide support for our high-throughput entomology testing platform via application of basic biological concepts and procedures
• Production of various solutions and artificial diets for insect bioassays.
• Care of plants in a growth chamber and/or greenhouse setting
• Setup and scoring of insect bioassays and data entry.
• Usage and upkeep of laboratory equipment along with general lab/CE cleaning.

Qualifications:
 

• Requires a bachelor's degree in biology, entomology, plant physiology or related field.
• Basic understanding of the principles of plant and animal life.
• Attention to detail, results orientation, customer focus, teamwork, strong written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to work independently or as part of a diverse team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in agricultural biotechnology or automation/robotics is a plus.

Environment:

• Typically works under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor or manager.
