Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Consultant for an exciting opportunity in the Marlborough, MA area!

Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Serve as a key leader within the PDL program team, taking ownership of specific project streams and ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Lean & Six Sigma Implementation: Apply extensive Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, analyze processes, and implement data-driven improvements across manufacturing operations.
  • Hands-on Execution: Directly engage with shop floor teams to implement changes, provide training, and ensure new processes and digital tools are effectively adopted. This is not a purely advisory role; "rolling up your sleeves" is essential.
  • Change Management: Drive effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and broad acceptance of new processes and technologies across all levels of the organization.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Comfortably interact with and communicate project status, challenges, and successes to all levels of the organization, from shop floor associates to senior leadership.
  • Analytical Rigor: Utilize strong analytical skills to gather data, measure performance, and track the impact of transformation efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extensive Lean Six Sigma Experience: Demonstrated expertise in Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Project & Program Leadership: Strong experience in leading and managing complex projects or programs, ideally within a manufacturing or operational context.
  • Manufacturing Acumen: Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and the challenges associated with shop floor environments.
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven ability to navigate organizational change and drive adoption of new ways of working.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Action-Oriented: A pragmatic, hands-on approach with a strong bias for action and delivering results directly on the shop floor.
