Pay Rate: $22.00-23.50 based on the shift.
Schedule: 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift available

What's a typical day as an Equipment Operator II? You'll be:

• Performing start-up operations from power off/cold state and completing equipment and product paperwork
• Conducting Level I required preventive maintenance tasks
• Participating in changeovers including line clearance, system transactions, and associated documentation
• Performing work order set-ups in electronic batch records, data acquisition, and inventory management systems
• Pulling test samples for QC in-process inspection and removing completed production from machines
• Filling component hoppers/bowls as required to maintain production
• Performing minor troubleshooting to diagnose machine performance issues and escalating to assigned technicians when necessary
• Updating hourly production boards with production and efficiency numbers
• Submitting machine repair tags to identify issues requiring support services
• Ensuring that product not meeting quality specifications is processed under non-conformance procedures
• Maintaining 5S standards in assigned work areas

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Understand and can use computers
• Possess sound judgment for machine troubleshooting and product disposition
• Have good interpersonal skills to facilitate communication at various levels within the organization
• Can accurately follow both verbal and written instructions
• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred; or a Technical Certificate with associated relevant experience
• Can work in manufacturing environments involving close proximity to equipment and potential exposure to biohazards and/or chemicals
• Can lift up to 35 lbs. and push/pull up to 80 lbs., and handle recurring physical demands like standing, walking, stooping, and more
