Full-Time Paraeducator - Caesar Rodney School District

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma with ParaPro Assessment or
  • 60 College Credit hours with a ‘C' average or
  • Associates Degree or Higher in any subject

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs within the classroom.
  • Model the ideas that embrace diversity and inclusivity while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
A full-time paraeducator may also be referred to as paraprofessional, 1:1 aide, education technician, teacher aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant, education assistant, learning support assistant, and teaching assistant.
