Qualifications

Required:

• 7+ years of relevant experience with the Defense Acquisition System, JCIDS, and PPBE processes
• Bachelor's degree
• Demonstrated experience conducting technical analysis and assessments in support of portfolio management
• Experience with developmental testing and operational testing of prototype systems
• Experience developing executive-level briefings, information memorandum, and white papers
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners
• Ability to work both independently and in teams to meet mission objectives
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

The Senior Acquisition Analyst will support DASD(AI2) in the execution of Competitive Acquisition Pathfinders (CAPs), which are designed to identify disconnects among the three legs of delivering warfighter advantage: Requirements (Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System), Resourcing (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution), and Program Management. The candidate will communication and collaborate with stakeholders across OSD, Joint Staff, Military Departments/Services, and the Combatant Commands. This will include documenting lessons learned, process barriers, and opportunities to reform the acquisition process in order to deliver warfighting capabilities in a timely manner.
